“A Naturalist’s Virtual Seminar” Offered by the University of Illinois Extension

The University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist Program of Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall and Putnam Counties will be hosting a week-long virtual seminar focusing on Illinois wildlife and stewardship practices. This seminar, which is open to the public, will meet daily at 2:00 p.m. via Zoom for two, one-hour sessions. The seminar kicks off on Monday, February 22nd at 2:00 p.m. with a keynote address by Abigail Garofalo, Energy & Environmental Stewardship Educator with University of Illinois Extension Serving Cook County, with a talk titled “Conservation at Home”.  Detailed descriptions of each session can be found at the registration website (link given below).

The seminar is free, however donations are welcomed. Interested individuals must pre-register by Friday, February 19th. Participants will receive Zoom links for each session they register for. You may register for any session that interests you if there is space. Participants will be able to ask questions at the conclusion of each session. If you have an interest in our state’s natural resources and stewardship practices, you won’t want to miss this event!
