The Extension Excellence Awards honor the dedication, innovation, and collaborative spirit that drive our mission forward. These awards are a way to recognize the individuals and teams who go above and beyond, whether through exceptional service, creative solutions, or strong partnerships that make a difference in our communities.
We know the work you do matters. Now’s the time to share your story or lift up the great work of your colleagues. Whether you have achieved significant milestones, exceeded targets, led innovative projects, or demonstrated exceptional collaboration, we want to hear your story! Apply or nominate a team or individual to be recognized for their meaningful contributions brought to Extension every day.

Application Process
All submissions must be received in Canvas no later than August 28, 2026 by 11:59 PM.
Only PDF files can be uploaded into the awards platform.
You can access the full Extension Excellence Awards Manual on the "Awards Info" page on Canvas after enrollment or in the Box folder.
Be sure to review general information, eligibility requirements, and judging criteria prior to applying or nominating.
Awards Timeline
- The application window closes August 28, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
- Awards judging takes place during the month of September.
- Award winners will be notified mid-October.
Recognition
- Each winner will be recognized statewide and invited to a recognition event.
- Individual winners of an Excellence Award receive $500; teams will split $1000.
- All Excellence winners will also have the choice of receiving either a plaque or a gift card to the Extension store.
