Illinois App

The Illinois App, built on the Rokwire platform, is the official mobile application of the University of Illinois, designed to streamline access to essential resources and services. Available for iOS and Android, the app offers a wide range of features tailored to university students, faculty, and staff.

For extension staff, two key features enhance professional interactions and administrative convenience:

  • Digital Business Card: This feature allows staff to create and share a digital version of their business card directly from the app. Whether attending conferences, networking events, or engaging with external partners, extension staff can quickly exchange contact details without the need for physical cards.
  • Digital ID: The Digital ID serves as an official identification tool within the Illinois App. Extension staff are required to present their Digital ID when staying at preferred hotels to access exclusive discount rates. This seamless authentication method ensures secure verification while reducing the need for printed credentials.

Beyond these features, the Illinois App provides additional tools such as a digital bus pass, course information, campus wayfinding, Illini sports schedules, events, health and wellness resources, and an AI-powered search function.
