University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener volunteers will provide a program on Home Composting on Friday, September 17, at 10 am. Event will be held at U of I Extension office, 700 S Airport Drive, Springfield, IL. This program will provide hands on composting suggestions focusing on easy ways to compost using the Fall leaves and worms. We will show you another way to handle the Fall leaves which will provide you with a nice soil amendment for your Spring gardening. We will show participants how to set up and maintain a worm bin.
