Position Summary:
The Extra Help 4‑H Extension Program Coordinator supports 4‑H staff during peak periods, staff transitions, and special projects. This role assists with planning, organizing, promoting, and delivering youth educational programs that support learning and development.
This position is temporary and works on an as‑needed basis, allowing for flexibility in scheduling based on program and staff needs. It is not a full-time or permanent role and is not eligible for benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and running educational programs and events.
- Help organize logistics such as schedules, locations, and supplies.
- Support outreach efforts and help promote programs.
- Assist and support program volunteers.
- Help maintain relationships with community partners.
- Follow procedures to ensure safe and effective programs.
- Share educational information with participants.
- Help evaluate programs and suggest improvements.
- Maintain records, support data collection, and assist with reports while following required guidelines.
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Location: Logan, Menard, and Sangamon counties
