Youth participate in hands-on activities, learning about Illinois birds, constructing window bird monitoring stations for the local nursing home, using technology to create an informational bird sign, and constructing and installing birdhouses.

This program is open to all Washington County Youth ages 8-18 as of September 1, 2023. Previous 4-H membership is not required. Washington County Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists will lead the program.

Participants will meet on November 1 and 29 at 6 p.m. at Nashville Community Center. Dates for December through April will be determined by the group. 

Advance registration is required by October 27.
