"Meating" expectations from farm to fork.

Illinois Extension educators are teaming up with Legacy Meats LLC in Sumner, Illinois, to kick off the summer twilight series and share information about high-quality cattle and hog production and custom processing.

The vision for Legacy Meats was planted by combining the Brashear family's 50 years of experience with high-quality livestock with the Burns family's 50 years of knowledge of custom processing. They aim to "meat" customers' expectations from farm to fork, providing high-quality livestock, custom processing, and a fully stocked retail store while leaving a legacy one generation at a time.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. To register for any (or all) of the meetings in this series, go to go.illinois.edu/twilightseries or call (618) 695-2441.
