Gardening with native plants can be a satisfying journey. Come on a walking tour of three gardens at Touch of Nature with Touch of Nature Board Member Lyle White and Master Gardener Joe Powers to learn why they made the switch to improving the site's landscaping with native plants. Each garden has origins tied to specific goals, including educational demonstration, erosion control, mowing reduction, historical ethnobotany, and the preservation of the rare flora of southern Illinois.
