Explore the important role pollinators play in healthy ecosystems and productive landscapes during this guided tour of a pollinator habitat. This program will walk participants through the how and why behind pollinator fields.  Join Master Gardener Anne Hale as she explains the steps involved in creating a pollinator field, from preparing the site and choosing seeds to planting and managing the habitat over time. Along the way, we’ll highlight some of the native plants that support bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects, and explain why pollinator conservation is critical for agriculture, biodiversity, and resilient landscapes. This tour is ideal for gardeners, landowners, and anyone interested in learning how pollinator habitats are designed and how they make a difference.  Kimberly Rohling, Horticulture Educator, will be available at the program to guide discussion or answer questions along the way.    This program is free and open to the public.
