Ingredients
- 3 cup cubed winter squash (such as butternut or acorn)
- 2 cup cubed baking apples* (such as Granny Smith)
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
- ¼ cup dried cranberries
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Wash hands with soap and water.
- Before cutting, gently rub all produce under cool running water.
- Combine cubed squash and apples in an 8x8 inch pan.
- Sprinkle nutmeg, cinnamon and brown sugar over squash and apple mixture.
- Top mixture with dried cranberries.
- Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until squash and apples are tender.
