CARBONDALE, Ill.— Need a little help with your home landscape? Horticulture Educator Austin Little will inspire you to create a beautiful outdoor space through an upcoming landscape design course.
The three-part series will take place the last week of February on the campus of SIU. Topics include:
Session 1 (Feb. 24)- introduction to inventory and analysis of potential landscape installation; fundamentals of home landscape design
Session 2 (Feb. 26)- introduction and demonstration of basic drawing tools
Session 3 (Feb. 28)- in-class design based on a site of your choosing
Each class will meet from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in room 195 of the College of Agricultural Sciences building at 1205 Lincoln Dr. in Carbondale. The program is $15, which covers the cost of materials.
