Keeping Healthy at Home with University of Illinois Extension Nutrition and Wellness Program

During Shelter-in-Place, many people are finding themselves out of their normal. This can be a challenge for health routines. University of Illinois Extension has resources to share. We offer a helping hand to keep you on the pathway of healthful living through our Nutrition and Wellness Program. We provide healthier living information when you need it through online resources, social media and videos.

Find research-based educational information in our social media campaign; 30 Days of Food Rescue, and through accessing resources for chronic disease and nutrition.  Try our new website Feeding your Baby and gain valuable information for food safety for the home and at work.  We will give you ideas for meal prep and recipe resources, teach you cooking skills through our video library; What’s Cooking with Mary Liz Wright and offer interactive food and nutrition education for youth. Feel confident this season preserving your garden bounty with our resources for safe home food preservation and keep up-to-date with healthful food choices using ChooseMyPlate.  Join us for our free webinar classes by registering online at; Health at Home or https://extension.illinois.edu/blmp.
