Meals for a Healthy Heart. Take better care of your heart! According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, you can lower the risk of heart disease by living a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle includes choosing heart-healthy foods and beverages, maintaining a healthy weight, and adding regular physical activity.
Join our two-part online class series, which provides the tools to improve overall health, wellbeing, and awareness of cardiovascular risk and prevention. Classes offer Illinois Extension research-based education for preventing and managing heart disease. And, watch heart-healthy recipe cooking demonstrations live on zoom. Receive recipes and heart health resources by attending via email. The online zoom classes are on February 5 & 12, 2021, from 10:30 – noon.
