Dana Hart serves as the office support associate for the Edwards County Extension office. Hart joined Extension in 2021 as the Wabash County office support assistant before transferring to Edwards County.
In her role, she supports both the local 4-H program and unit-wide programs while assisting with additional fiscal, civil rights, and human resource duties. She also assists in coordinating the Master Gardener and Master Naturalist programs. She earned her associate degree in business management and accounting from Olney Central College and has an extensive background in human resources.
Hart grew up in a 4-H family in Jasper County. Her dad worked as a county ag agent, then educator for Extension, so she’s happy to have returned to her roots with both 4-H and Extension. Hart is married to her husband, Bryan, and together they have two sons, Caden and Eli. She enjoys reading, being outdoors, traveling, and watching her sons play football and compete in scholastic bowl.
