4-H Shooting Sports Orientation
Who: McHenry and Lake County Youth ages 8-18 (AND PARENTS)
Date: January 11 at 10:30am
Place: Building D at the McHenry County Fairgrounds, 11900 Country Club Rd, Woodstock
Please join the Shooting Sports instructors and 4-H staff to find out information about this year's 4-H Shooting Sports program.
Archery, Air Rifle, and Shot Gun Classes will be offered this spring and summer!
- Air Rifle - ages 8-18
- Archery - ages 8-18
- Shot Gun - ages 12-18
The 4-H Shooting Sports Program is an active program that is attractive to both youth and adults. The program uses positive learning and interaction with youth and adult role models. The disciplines are modeled after the National 4-H Shooting Sports Program and are administered by nationally certified-state leaders consisting of extension personnel and volunteers.
You do not have to belong to a 4-H Community Club to participate in the 4-H Shooting Sports program. ALL youth ages 8-18 as of September 1, 2019 are welcome!
