The Cultural Awareness workshop is designed to assist educators and other professionals in expanding their skills in working with diverse audiences. Created by leaders in their field at Washington State University Extension, Navigating Difference is based on the premise that becoming culturally competent is a developmental process. The Navigating Difference training provides a set of skills to enhance your work with diverse audiences and a solid foundation in intercultural communications theory and practice.  The training is NOT about specific cultural groups, trying to change your values, blaming or fault finding.
