Things feeling a little bland? Want to spice up your life a bit? Join us for a free program as two Extension Educators share their expertise on growing and cooking with herbs. Local Foods and Small Farms Educator Katie Bell will share information on growing, propogating, and caring for various herbs as well as how to recognize and treat common plant diseases. Then, after you know how to care for them, Nutritional and Wellness Educator Mary Liz Wright will take you on a culinary journey as she shares tips to incorporate herbs into recipes and preserve them for use this winter.

The program is free, but registration is required. Visit go.illinois.edu/herbworkshop or call (618) 687-1727 to reserve your spot! University of Illinois Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in programming, please contact Maggie Ray at mro@illinois.edu or (618) 687-1727. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time to meet your access needs.
