One-day workshop | Summer 2022
WHO: Youth ages 12-18
WHAT: Through a unique partnership, 4-H and Eco.Logic are teaming up this summer to engage and empower youth to discover how to protect and serve the environment and the world - one environmental hero at a time! This one-day camp is designed for kids and teens who love the environment, want to learn more about caring for the world, and are ready to put their superpowers into environmental action.
WHERE: Kane County Extension Office, St. Charles
WHEN: Saturday, July 30 | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHY: Explore topics such as:
- Sustainable food systems
- Renewable energy and green jobs
- Art in the environmental movement
Registration is required and opens late May. Space may be limited. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate, contact the event coordinator. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time for meeting your access needs.
Special note: Participants should bring a nut-free lunch. Snacks and water will be provided.
