Egyptian Health Department will be hosting a Back to School Clinic on August 17 from 3-6 p.m. at their Eldorado Office. The event will feature car seat checks, free community resources, giveaways, dental exams and cleanings, and free immunizations including the COVID-19 vaccine. ABOUT EXCITE: Vaccines are an important part of your health and wellness. They add an extra layer of protection against serious illness. The EXCITE program is helping to address health disparities among rural and other underserved communities. It serves all Land-grant universities through two sets of activities: system-wide engagement with the CDC’s Vaccinate with Confidence communication campaign and selected adult immunization education pilot projects.
