Join Jackson County 4-H as we celebrate Native American History month through an archaeology tour of Millstone Bluff. The unique look into a prehistoric Native American community offers more variety than any other archaeological dig in Southern Illinois.

Participants will meet at the Jackson County Extension Office (402 Ava Rd. Murphysboro, IL 62966) at 9 a.m. to drive to Millstone Bluff. Transportation is not provided, but we will caravan together.

Participants will meet the Heritage Program Manager and Tribal Liaison from the Shawnee National Forest Service at 10:30 a.m. at Millstone Bluff in Simpson, IL. She will showcase artifacts and take everyone on a guided tour of Millstone Bluff.
