It may be cold outside, but now is a great time to start planning for your garden this year. Join Boone County Master Gardener Jennifer Crider as she discusses the process of starting your seeds indoors so they are ready to go for the growing season. After the presentation, we will participate in a seed swap and explore the process of sowing winter seeds.

Registration is required (button above). Program cost is $5 per person. 

Seed Swap
Bring your own seeds to share with others and take seeds home for this year's garden. Don't have seeds? No problem.  Come anyway. Seeds can be for flowers, vegetables, herbs, grasses, bulbs, etc. We ask that your seeds are non-GMO and are labeled with enough information about them so that those who take them are well informed about what they are getting. 

Winter Seed Sowing
Make and take your own seed sowing container using milk jugs. Start your seeds before you leave class. (one milk jug per person)
