Join Master Naturalists Pat Dunbar and Mary McCarthy for a relaxed and engaging nature walk focused on spotting and identifying dragonflies at the Barkhausen Cache River Wetlands Center. Whether you're brand‑new to dragonflies or already an enthusiast, all ages and experience levels are welcome.
We will begin this program with a 15–20-minute presentation at the wetland center, providing information about their behaviors, activities, and migration patterns. You will also receive some direction on what dragonflies you may discover. After the presnetation, we'll head out for a guided hike through the wetlands. Then get an up-close look at aquatic life with a dipnetting demonstration.
