Spark Before Dark: Salt Art

Let’s turn ordinary salt into a colorful work of art! Participants will use colorful chalk to create vibrant salt art while experimenting with colors, patterns, and designs. They’ll layer and blend the chalk-colored salt to create their own unique masterpiece. This fun, hands-on activity is a creative way to explore color and texture while making something they can take home! Youth in grades 2nd-8th are eligible to participate and do not have to be 4-H members to attend.
