MURPHYSBORO, Ill.— Things feeling a little bland? Want to spice up your life a bit? If so, please join us on a culinary journey as visiting Extension Educator, Mary Liz Wright, discusses the topic of herbs! Herbs are wonderful addition to any dish as well as your garden or pots on the porch. With the summer upon us, there will be many days of grilling, potlucks and family dinners full of fresh fruits and vegetables. Utilizing herbs can add some life into traditional dishes that are sure to wow friends and family.
This course will take place on Thursday, June 27 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will be held at the Jackson County Extension office at 402 Ava Road in Murphysboro. The workshop is free and open to the public, however, registration is required. To register, please call (618) 687-1727.
