URBANA, Ill. – As the days get longer and wetter, gardens come alive but so do many other organisms. Join Horticulture Educator Austin Little as he discusses common garden pests and diseases through a proactive plant care webinar at 1 p.m. on June 17.
“Biodiversity is an asset for a healthy landscape, but sometimes a pest or disease can find a window of opportunity to do damage,” said Little.
During the webinar, Little will examine the most common pests and diseases that afflict annuals and perennials in the garden and explore the practice of integrated pest management, a proactive approach to managing pests and diseases in the home landscape.
All programs are free, but registration is required.
Illinois Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in programming, contact the webinar organizer. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time for meeting your needs.
