Farmer’s wishing to apply restricted-use pesticides to property that they own or control in the production of an agricultural commodity must be certified as private applicators in the state of Illinois.
A training and test session will be offered on January 8, 2020 at the Lake Storey Pavilion in Galesburg. There is a $40.00 registration fee per person. Training will take place from 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and testing will take place from 11:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Individuals wishing to attend should pre-register online to guarantee a seat. Walk-ins may not be guaranteed seating due to space restrictions.
A test-only session will be held on March 4, 2020 at the Warren/Henderson Farm Bureau in Monmouth. There is no fee to attend the test-only session. Pre-registration for private applicator testing is required. Please call the University of Illinois Extension office at 309-734-5161 to register.
