Hillsboro, Ill. – University of Illinois Extension will host an Invasive Plant Workshop at the Montgomery County Extension Office (#1 Industrial Park Drive, Hillsboro). Invasive plants are a major threat to biodiversity and native plant habitats. This workshop will cover identification, reporting, mapping, control methods, and native plant alternatives. This program will take place on Thursday, November 14 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Registration is required by November 11. This workshop is free and open to the public.
