Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson is the office support associate for the Wayne County Extension office and joined Illinois Extension in 2012. Jessica provides administrative support for Illinois Extension programs in Wayne County, including 4-H, and assists with additional fiscal and civil rights duties. 

Simpson earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Southern Indiana. In 2025, she was awarded the Meritorious Support Service Award by the Illinois Alpha Nu Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Phi, a professional organization for Extension employees. 

Growing up, she was a 10-year member of the Country Kids 4-H club. Her connection to 4-H and the local community is instrumental in helping the Extension office support Wayne County best.

Jessica and her husband Nathan have two kids, Lily and Grady. She enjoys baking and traveling with her husband, supporting him at trap shooting competitions.
