Ryan Littlejohn serves as the 4-H program coordinator for Wayne County. He joined Illinois Extension in 2022 as the Richland County 4-H program coordinator before transferring to Wayne County. In his role, he manages the county 4-H program, including workshops, 4-H shows, and 4-H school programming, while overseeing county clubs and volunteers.

Littlejohn earned his Bachelor of Science in animal science and industry from Kansas State University. He is a 3rd-generation 4-H Member and a Kansas 4-H alumnus. He has an extensive background in agriculture and working with volunteers. Born and raised in Kansas, he was an active member of Harvey County 4-H in large animal livestock, general projects, and leadership, holding roles at the local and state levels of 4-H. He has served as a project leader, superintendent, fair board member, and livestock judging team coach.

Littlejohn is the co-host of the award-winning podcast, Behind the Clover, and is certified as a level 1 and 2 instructor for the 4-H shooting sports program. He enjoys hosting workshops and providing learning experiences for the youth in Wayne County.

Littlejohn is married to his wife, Hallie, and together they have a daughter, Sailor. Outside of work, he enjoys officiating football and basketball for IHSA, playing piano and the pipe organ, and farming with his in-laws on Anderson Farms.
