Sharon Blair joined the University of Illinois Extension team in 2016 as extra help office support in Knox County and transitioned to permanent full-time office support assistant in August 2022.  She received an associate's degree in accounting from Carl Sandburg College. 

Sharon provides support to the Extension County Director as well as to her colleagues in the areas of 4-H & Youth Development, Horticulture, SPIN, Community and Economic Development, and Family Life.  She likes interacting with 4-H families and providing friendly customer service to all the folks the Knox County Extension office serves.

Sharon’s from Knoxville, IL and married Randall (ROWVA grad) over 35 years ago.  They have a grown daughter; their family also includes two dogs and a cat.  She has been a church accompanist for 40+ years, directs choir, and does some office work at 1st Christian Church in Knoxville.
