Sharon Blair joined the University of Illinois Extension team in 2016 as an office support assistant, providing invaluable support to the Knox County Extension office. With her associate's degree in accounting from Carl Sandburg College, Sharon brings a strong financial background to her role.

As a dedicated member of the Extension team, Sharon works closely with the County Director and colleagues in various program areas, including 4-H & Youth Development, Horticulture, SPIN, Community and Economic Development, and Family Life. She enjoys interacting with 4-H families and providing exceptional customer service to all those who visit the Knox County Extension office.

A lifelong resident of Knoxville, Illinois, Sharon is married to Randall and has a grown daughter. Their family also includes two beloved dogs and a cat. With over 40 years of experience as a church accompanist and choir director, Sharon's passion for music and community engagement is evident. She also contributes to the office at 1st Christian Church in Knoxville.
