Friends of Extension

While the last few years have brought challenges, University of Illinois Extension staff has consistently demonstrated their dedication to providing quality educational programming to help individuals, families, and youth in Carroll, Lee, and Whiteside counties. Our programming has positively impacted our communities and brought life-changing information, education, and experiences to people of all ages.

One thing is abundantly clear: we do not do this work alone! With the help of our dedicated 4-H volunteers, Master Gardeners, and Master Naturalists, our outreach is maximized in Carroll, Lee, and Whiteside counties. Whether it’s leading a 4-H club, providing education at a local farmers market, or working on special projects, our volunteers remain committed and engaged in our mission and walk alongside us for the benefit of our communities.

Your donation will help us continue our long history of valuable educational programming and positive youth development. 

Your Donation

Your donation makes a difference and directly benefits our communities. A few ways your donation makes a difference include:

  • $20 provides one year of 4-H program fees for a young person
  • $25 provides for one award for an outstanding project at the 4-H Fair
  • $30 allows one young person to participate in Jr. Gardener Club or an Archery Clinic
  • $100 supports a 4-H’er in attending summer camp
  • $175 covers the cost of Master Gardener or Master Naturalist training
