Please join the McHenry County Extension Master Gardeners as we tour Uncommon Ground, in Chicago. Uncommon Ground is the first organic rooftop farm registered in the US. They also have an organic brewery at a different location. Allison, our tour leader, is in charge of all of the growing operations at the Devon location and will explain the rooftop farm as well as the plantings and food crops planted around the outdoor patio. The tour is on Saturday, August 10th at 11am, and will last approximately 1 hour.
There is a $10 per person fee, to be paid on arrival. Please bring exact change.
