Join the Master Naturalists on Tuesday, October 8th for a full day of exploration at the remains of the most sophisticated prehistoric native civilization north of Mexico, known today as Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site in Collinsville, IL.

Relax on the bus, hear from our experts and enjoy a short film on this ancient city. Once we arrive, explore the property on a personal tour with archaeology experts, Bill Iseminger, Douglas Jackson, and Fred Christenson. Enjoy box lunches provided by Piato's or bring your own lunch for a discounted price. Hike to the top of Monks Mound and envision the massive civilization that once was larger than London was in AD 1250.
