The official start of summer has provided many beautiful days to get out and take a walk around the neighborhood. Perhaps you discovered a native plant on your property or purchased a flowering shrub to incorporate into your home landscape. Join University of Illinois Extension Educators Austin Little and Erin Garrett as they help you identify the native plants, herbaceous flowers, or flowering shrubs of Illinois during the summer plant identification walk and talk webinar.

To help prepare for the program, Extension needs your help! Please send us a photo of the plants in your area that you want help identifying or caring for. Be sure to include the location (city/county) where the plant is located and the specific question you have for our educators. To participate, please submit your photo to Maggie Ray no later than July 28. This program is free and open to the public but one must register to attend

University of Illinois Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in programming, contact the webinar organizer. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time for meeting your needs.
