4-H Shooting Sports Orientation

If you love being outdoors, you’ll love the shooting sports project! This project covers safety and teaches responsible handling and use.
Please join the Shooting Sports instructors and 4-H staff to learn more about this year's 4-H Shooting Sports program opportunities.
Archery, Air Rifle, and Shot Gun Classes will be offered this spring and summer!
- Air Rifle - ages 8-18
- Archery - ages 8-18
- Shot Gun - ages 12-18
The 4-H Shooting Sports Program is an active program that is attractive to both youth and adults. The program uses positive learning and interaction with youth and adult role models. The disciplines are modeled after the National 4-H Shooting Sports Program and are administered by certified-state leaders consisting of extension personnel and volunteers.
ALL youth ages 8-18 as of September 1, 2020 are welcome to join! Those not already enrolled in the 4-H program, will become an Illinois 4-H member by joining the Shooting Sports SPIN Club. Once a 4-H member, youth can participate in ANY 4-H project area! See the Illinois 4-H Projects
