Logan County 4-H Oral Communications Contest will take place on Saturday, March 27, 2021 beginning at 9:00 am (specific presentation times will be assigned) at the Extension Office. You must be enrolled in the Public Presentations Contest by March 1 in order to participate. Registration ends March 17. Classes this year (with time limits of 4-6 minutes) include Formal Speech, Illustrated Speech, Original Works, and Oral Interpretation. Three 4-H presentations will be selected to move on to State Public Speaking event on Sat. June 5 at Richland Community College in Decatur, IL. Youth may participate in this contest AND exhibit a project at the Illinois State Fair.
