Summer is a busy time for our Agriculture and Natural Resources team, and they are excited to showcase some of the projects through a tour of the Jackson County Extension research grounds on August 12. The grounds feature several research and demonstration projects where valuable data is collected and used as teaching tools to provide best management practices for local growers. Join Extension Educators Katie Bell and Austin Little with their intern Kate Baker as they showcase:
- 20’ by 48’ demonstration high tunnel
- tomato fertilization research
- production systems for specialty crops
- rain garden
