Pack a snack and roll down the windows as you tour of some of the prettiest gardens in McHenry County. The University of Illinois Extension McHenry County Master Gardeners and McHenry County College will host their annual Garden Walk on Saturday, July 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Garden Walk 2022 will showcase 10 beautiful gardens—eight private gardens and two volunteer-tended teaching gardens. The tour starts at the McHenry County College Demonstration Garden and meanders through the central part of county. The online early bird cost is $12 per person (through June 28); otherwise, tickets may be purchased on the day of the event only at the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden at MCC, parking lot C, for $17. Proceeds help support the educational missions of MCC and McHenry County Extension.

Advance tickets may be purchased for $12 immediately online at gardenwalk2022.brownpapertickets.com. All tickets must be picked up the day of the walk. Tickets may be purchased on the day of the event for $17 at the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden at MCC—parking lot C. No ticket sales will be available from Wednesday, June 29 through Friday, July 8, 2022. No tickets will be mailed. No refunds. The event is held rain or shine. No pets please.
