Farmette in Action: 4-H SPecial INterest Club - July/August 2022

Have you ever wondered what goes on at a small farm? During this 6-week 4-H Special Interest Club, youth will take part in fun, hands-on activities, such as horse grooming, farm photography, soap-making, and goat pedicures. Members will get up close and personal with horses and goats, and learn new things and build skills! This program is in partnership with Live Learn & Lead, a 501(c)3 organization.

Ages: 8-18 (as of 9/1/21)

When: Meets for 6 weeks on Tuesdays, July 26-August 30, 2022

Time: 4:30-6 p.m.

Where: Hampshire, IL - the Fox Valley Saddle Association (there is a heated facility available if needed for weather; more details provided upon registration)

Cost: $80 (includes $20* 4-H Enrollment for 2021-22 year & supplies for these sessions)

  • *The $20 enrollment cost is required only once per 4-H year per youth. If a youth joins multiple clubs within the same 4-H year, it only needs to be paid once. If already enrolled and paid through another 4-H club this 4-H year (2021-2022), your cost for this program will be $60.
