Participants will travel to Alton, IL to visit Melvin Price Locks and Dam for a day of learning about careers related to environmental science. Members will speak with professionals about their careers, training, and education and experience a guided tour focusing on the jobs and roles related to the navigation system, environmental stewardship, natural resources, and more!

4-H membership required. Open to 4-H members in Christian, Jersey, Macoupin, and Montgomery counties.

Ages 13 and above. 

Transportation is available upon request.

4-H parents are welcome to attend. However, they will not be permitted to participate in the tour.
