Jessica Jaffry provides leadership to the 4-H youth development program in Christian, Jersey, Macoupin, and Montgomery counties. She works with both local 4-H staff and volunteers to assess local priorities and organize a variety of opportunities for youth to thrive and grow, including community-organized 4-H clubs, educational workshops, after-school opportunities, and special events and contests. Jaffry focuses her programming on college and workforce preparation, leadership, healthy living, social and emotional learning, environmental education, and STEM.

Jessica has been a part of University of Illinois Extension since 2018, previously serving Jersey County prior to her current position.

Jessica is a member of the National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals and the Illinois Extension Professionals for Youth Education. 

Jaffry is a Jersey County native and a 2009 graduate from Southwestern High School. She graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree of Science. In 2014, she received her Masters of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
