Are you ready to become a Junior Master Gardener?
Join 4-H and Master Gardeners in a multi-session exploration of all things gardening. Grow your own vegetables and flowers, take home three Grow Bags, and learn about everything from seeds to fertilizer to pollinators. After the course, attendees are eligible to show their projects at the Kane County Fair!
Ages: 8-18 (as of 9/1/23)
Meetings: 1-3 p.m. | 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, 6/2, 6/9, 6/16
Location: Kane County Extension Idea Garden, 3480 IL Route 38, St. Charles
Cost to participate: $60 (includes $40 for supplies/costs and $20* 4-H Enrollment for 2023-2024 year due here in ZSuite) T-Shirt Provided!
- *The $20 enrollment cost is required only once per 4-H year per youth. If a youth joins multiple clubs within the same 4-H year, it only needs to be paid once. If already enrolled and paid through another 4-H club this 4-H year (2023-2024), then the cost would be $20.
