Gardeners welcome the change of seasons for many reasons, one being that it often provides a blank slate. The plant problems they had last year are in the past. Spring brings new colors, textures, and interesting trends. Many gardeners keep journals when they can redesign and start new flower beds, fill problem areas, and replace perennials and shrubs to improve their landscape.

Join the Vermilion County Master Gardeners and Danville Gardens to discuss 2024 plant trends at “What’s New in Garden Centers?” on Tuesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. at the Danville Public Library, 319 N Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61832.

Attending this presentation is free; however, we ask that attendees please register so we have adequate handouts.

Save the date for our Vermilion County Master Gardener plant sale, Saturday, May 11!
