NEW USDA REQUIREMENTS for 2026:
RFID 840 tags will be required for all cattle and swine exhibited at a county fair beginning in 2026.
If your animal already has an EID tag, the 840 tag ID already in place will be used. We will NOT replace that tag.
Register:
- ALL members enrolled in BEEF Project must register that they WILL or will NOT attend Beef weigh-in
- ONE registration per FAMILY
- MAXIMUM number of animals you might bring or NONE
- How many 840 tags you will need
- Preferred time slot
