Unit 4-H Public Speaking Competition

They say practice makes perfect, especially when applied to public speaking! 4-H members, ages 8-18, from Edwards, Lawrence, Richland, Wabash, and Wayne counties are invited to enter the five-county unit's 4-H public speaking contest. 

Up to five speakers may be awarded at the local competition. Each county may then advance three entries to the state 4-H public speaking contest, scheduled for April 25, 2026, in Champaign, IL. 

Participants must be enrolled in the public presentations 4-H project. Register at fairentry.com. Requirements and resources can be found at go.illinois.edu/PublicSpeaking26.
