Youth ages 10–18 are invited to explore careers and hands‑on STEM activities in a fun, engaging environment! Participants will have the opportunity to take turns trying out a CDL driving simulator or forklift simulator, giving them a safe, age‑appropriate glimpse into real‑world workforce skills related to transportation, logistics, and skilled trades.
While waiting for their turn on the simulators, youth will rotate through interactive learning stations, including:
- Fully Automated Popcorn Machine – Watch automation in action and learn how machines perform tasks with minimal human input.
- Electrical Circuit Challenge – Connect components to build a basic electrical circuit and see if you can make the item turn on.
- Robotics Exploration Station – Explore robotics and automation concepts through hands‑on activities, with expanded robotics experiences planned for late summer.
This program focuses on curiosity, problem‑solving, and hands‑on learning while introducing youth to future career pathways in a fun and engaging way. No prior experience is required, and activities are designed to be accessible and exciting for a wide age range.
