Tree Walk

Join the Christian County Master Gardeners and learn about identifying tree species by their leaves, bark, and growth habit while exploring trees planted around Pana’s Kitchell Park. Learn key ID characteristics and about using a dichotomous key to identify trees. The walk will feature several ash trees growing there and local efforts to mitigate emerald ash borer damage.

Suitable for all ages and skill levels. Please wear appropriate attire for walking.
