University of Illinois Extension is committed to providing an opportunity for 4-H members throughout the state to display their projects during a County Fair or Project Day.

Fair participation is not required, but is highly encourage. This event provides youth a unique opportunity to tell others about their 4-H journey. Youth have a chance to talk one on one with a judge and tell him/her about their fair exhibit including what they learned, what were the challenges, what did they like and dislike, and they get to show off their hard work. This is their chance to shine and get positive feedback about their exhibit from knowledgable adults. Fair participants must be a current 4-H member
