Edwards County 4-H Speech and Demonstration Contest Held

The University of Illinois Extension Edwards County 4-H Speech and Demonstration Contest was held on March 9, 2020 in the Edwards County Farm Bureau Community Room. Four individuals gave demonstrations - Apphia Hallas “How to Make Tuna”, Lillian Bare “Plants/How to Plant a Tomato Seed”, Aleya Bare “Caring for a Rabbit” and Matthew Bare “Balloon Twisting”. Skylar Greathouse gave a Formal speech -“My Family Traditions”. An Illustrated speech was given by Kamryn Trowbridge “Belle”. Elizabeth Spillman gave an Oral Interpretation speech “The FFA Creed”. An Extempore speech was given by Abagail Hallas “Will Our Water Supply End Soon and How Would You Conserve It”. Congratulations to all on a fine job!
All participants received a Blue Ribbon. Skylar Greathouse and Kamryn Trowbridge were chosen as State Fair delegates. The Extension Office wants to thank the judges Averi Goodman and Justine Barnfield for their assistance in judging.
