Edwards County Youth attended the Illinois State Fair

 

On Saturday, August 10, 2019 ten Edwards County youth went to the Illinois State Fair in Springfield to show their 4-H Projects.  The Youth were picked from the county general show in July as State Fair Delegates which made them eligible to exhibit their project at the State Fair. 

The following received Outstanding Awards, along with, Champion, Reserve or Inspire Awards:  Addison Anderson-Cooking 301, Addison received a Reserve Champion medal; Ava Anderson-Leadership 2, Ava was awarded a Champion medal; Jaycey Buerster-Civic Engagement 1, Jaycey earned an Inspire Award; Chase Shelton-Visual Arts Metal, Chase was recognized with a Reserve Champion medal; Kaylie Vallette-Visual Arts Fiber, Kaylie also, received a Reserve Champion medal.

Outstanding Awards were presented to Allison Groff-Cooking 201 and Avery Roosevelt-Visual Arts Wood.

Participant Awards was received by Cheyenne Summerfield-Visual Arts Glass/Plastic; Connor Trowbridge-Woodworking 2; Kamryn Trowbridge-Cooking 201.

Congratulations to all of our 4-H members who exhibited and competed at the 2019 Illinois State Fair.    We are proud of your accomplishments!
